“I originally left a review expressing criticism of the Musical Theatre program. I previously stated that I didn't think we were getting equivalent value from the program for what we were putting in. What led me to that belief was cumulative from more than just a single issue or event, but we had a tipping point, and the school addressed it head on, very reasonably, and satisfactorily. I'm updating because their response was overwhelmingly positive. Whereas we intended to withdraw from Musical Theatre, we now remain enrolled with every intention of continuing classes. I will note regarding piano lessons: The first teacher we had was not really helping my child develop through individual lessons, perhaps in part because my child is dyslexic. However, we have since been working with Mr. Geet now for several months and he is doing a wonderful job.”

“Frisco Music Art Center – A Truly Outstanding Place to Learn and Grow Frisco Music Art Center is without a doubt one of the best music schools out there. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that this is not just a school—it’s a community that truly cares about helping every student discover and develop their musical talent. The staff, the environment, and the programs all work together to create a place where creativity and passion thrive. One of the best things about Frisco Music Art Center is the amazing instructors. Every teacher here is not only highly skilled and talented but also incredibly patient and encouraging. They know how to teach students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. What really stands out is how personal and customized the lessons are—each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals are taken into account. Whether you’re learning piano, guitar, drums, violin, or voice, you’ll always feel supported and challenged to grow. Another great thing about Frisco Music Art Center is the wide variety of programs they offer. They don’t just teach one or two instruments—they provide lessons for almost every instrument you can think of, along with group classes, band programs, and performance opportunities. The art and dance programs are also a wonderful addition, giving students the chance to explore multiple forms of creative expression in one place. It’s truly a center for the arts, not just a music school. The facility itself is also fantastic. It’s clean, welcoming, and full of energy. Each classroom is well-equipped with quality instruments and technology, making the learning experience enjoyable and professional. The environment is inspiring—it motivates students to practice, perform, and improve every time they come in. Parents often mention how friendly and helpful the front desk staff are, always ready to answer questions or help with scheduling in a way that makes everything run smoothly. Frisco Music Art Center also shines when it comes to performance opportunities. They frequently host recitals, concerts, and showcases that give students real-world experience performing in front of an audience. This builds confidence, stage presence, and pride in their progress. The staff and teachers always go above and beyond to make each event special and memorable for the students and their families. One of the things that makes this school stand out the most is its community atmosphere. Everyone—from the teachers to the students—feels like part of a big musical family. The positive energy and support you feel when you’re here are unmatched. Students encourage each other, and the teachers are genuinely excited to see every student succeed. It’s the kind of place where you don’t just learn music—you fall in love with it. Overall, Frisco Music Art Center provides everything a music student could hope for: talented and passionate instructors, a friendly and inspiring environment, professional equipment, and countless opportunities to grow as both a musician and a person. It’s more than just a school—it’s a home for creativity, learning, and artistic passion. If you’re looking for a place that will not only teach you music but also help you discover your full potential, Frisco Music Art Center is truly one of the best choices you can make. It’s a shining example of what a great music school should be. I love being a student here!!!!! —Vijay.Vanapamala”
“My daughter had enrolled in a group music class at Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts and had already begun attending when we were unexpectedly told the class was canceled due to “low enrollment” — a requirement that was never disclosed directly in communications before enrollment. When I reached out asking for a fair resolution (such as continuing the class, converting to private/semi-private at the same rate, or receiving a refund), owner Chris Duncan responded by removing my daughter from all of her classes, including the ballet class she was also enrolled in and very much enjoyed. There was no mention of any policy violation or behavioral issue—simply removal following my inquiry. This action caused real emotional distress for my daughter. She had formed bonds with classmates and the teacher, was excited for ballet each week, and had even laid out her ballet outfit ahead of class. Having everything abruptly taken away left her confused and upset, repeatedly asking why she couldn’t return to class. I reviewed all enrollment paperwork and found no provision allowing the removal of a student from unrelated classes for raising concerns. We were hoping for a nurturing, transparent, and supportive learning experience. Instead, the decision by Chris Duncan following our request for resolution has left us deeply disappointed. I urge other parents to get all cancellation and enrollment terms clearly stated in writing before enrolling. — Fahim Panjwani”
“Their summer camp worked well for our family. I stay at home full time and wanted to expose my daughter to many different types of performing arts. This was a great camp to do just that. She enjoyed it. She actually walked in on her birthday and they immediately greeted us and sang her happy birthday. That felt so welcoming. They also didn’t seem lost on the first day. They knew who they were expecting and what location they were suppose to be in. I would do their summer camp again.”
“From the very first time I called to inquire about the classes they offered they were pleasant & knowledgeable. My daughter was too young at the time for what we wanted but we were given other options that will help her grow into the next class. My daughter looks forward to her class all throughout the week. She shares her experience with everyone. During this difficult time of the pandemic, Frisco School of Music has taken every precaution to keep themselves & our children safe & happy! My daughter will be a student for years to come! Thank you to all of the staff for keeping my daughter excited & looking forward to her classes each week! She loves you guys & so do I, you are all much appreciated!”
